Mobile (phone) wallet apps.

There are a lot of mobile wallet apps. Which one to choose comes down to personal preference,  trusting the issuer (partly), available chains and the options they have to offer. The options listed below are two of the bigger wallets available and some of their pro’s and con’s. Blunded advises to use a hardware wallet, but if you decide to get a (software) mobile wallet and you need assistance, our team is here for you.

Metamask

  • Multi-chain.
  • Easy to connect.
  • Quite complex to beginners.
  • Doesn't support bitcoin blockchain.

Trust wallet

  • Multi-chain (incl. Bitcoin).
  • Easy to use!
  • Owned by binance.
  • When buying directly in the app, the fees are quite high.

Browser add ons (for desktop).

The browser add ons are very similar to the phone apps. They can be added to browsers like chrome or edge. The options however are more limited. Metamask and Trust Wallet both offer a wallet mobile app as well as a browser add on. So the pro’s and con’s are quite similar. Using a mobile app or browser add on comes down to personal preference.
